The left side of the trigger guard bow bears a “P” inside a bomb. The left side of the frame bears Spanish proof marks of “N” and a knight’s helmet and shield. The right rear of the frame bears an “Eagle/WaA251” WaffenAmt. The serial number is located on the bottom of the heel. The left side of the slide is marked “STAR-SA/CONTINUADORA DE/B ECHEVERRIA/EIBAR/ESPANA/CAL 9M/M”. The Spanish Star B virtually copied John Moses Browning’s Model 1911 and Hi-Power pistols. Hungry for small arms due to limited manufacturing capabilities and natural resources, Germany sought small arms from neutral Spain as well as from countries that it occupied (Czech, Poland, France, Belgium). Here we present a Nazi German Marked Spanish Star Model B Pistol, made circa 1943 in Eibar, Spain. SCARCE in the Correct Number Range for Wermacht WWII Nazi GERMAN Marked SPANISH Star B Pistol
